FJAAK

About FJAAK

FJAAK is an electronic music trio from Berlin. Having grown up together, they began to create all types of music made with microphones, guitars and drums in a dark, chaotic and dirty cellar at quite an early age.

After getting in touch with the Berlin underground techno scene, days and nights started being all about music — whether it was chopping beats on the MPC in the morning hours or studying manuals, the internet, vinyl stores and Schneiders Buero.

Known for hardware-based live sets and a steadfast vinyl-only ethos, the trio gained worldwide attention in 2009 with boundary-pushing techno, house and breakbeat. They are the creators of the Machine Vibes party series.

Monkeytown Live operates as a booking agency rooted in Berlin, supporting a wide circle of electronic artists whose work spans techno, bass, and experimental club music. The roster reflects a long-running commitment to underground culture, pairing established producers with newer voices who bring fresh perspectives to the label and stage. Through coordinated tours, festival appearances, and release-driven showcases, the agency helps shape how this network of musicians reaches audiences across Europe and beyond, keeping the focus firmly on the artists and the scenes they represent.

Working closely with labels such as Monkeytown and 50 Weapons, the agency connects live performance with a steady flow of releases, special projects, and collaborative events. From club dates in Hamburg, London, and Paris to larger shows in cities like Amsterdam, Munich, and Warsaw, the touring calendar is built around the needs of each act, including trio configurations, hardware-driven sets, and DJ-focused nights. The result is a flexible support structure that lets producers concentrate on their craft while remaining visible on stages throughout the European circuit.
